Electronic Duty of Care Advisory Group Formed

The Environment Agency has convened an Electronic Duty of Care Advisory Group to review progress of the Electronic Duty of Care project. This pilot project allows business and industry to electronically track the collection, transfer and final destination of their waste.
The main purpose of a recent meeting of the Advisory Group was to discuss the Environment Agency’s application for EU funding to set up a system of trapping electronic duty of care transfer notes on a central database for which different parties would have differing levels of access to some data.
